DECEMBER: Cabin Survival
We ended year 1 with a bang in the cold!

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Fire Building Competition: 3 matches to start with penalties for additional matches used. The goal is to boil water to 100 degrees as quickly as possible.
Wilderness Run: The worst event of all time. Run 2.5K in the woods in the middle of winter and chug a beer. Painful doesn't begin to express this event.
Low-Rope Course: An obstacle course in the woods.

SEPTEMBER: Golf Tournament
Simply put, golf was awesome, great and awe-inspiring. Freakin' awesome!

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
It's Golf... not rocket science. Figure it out. The event was held at the Pineview Golf Course.

Yeehaw! Awesome day. From shooting to wagon pulling, it was a real cowboy event!

Multisport Tournament!

APRIL: Multisport Extravaganza
Matt made it clear that he was on a hunt for points for his event and he made sure he had every advantage possible. The hall-of-fame banner at the back on his gym with his name was a grim reminder that this event was his for the taking. The gap is closing between the top ranks but no one has overtaken Eric for the lead yet. Perhaps in May? We'll see!

RUMOURS FOR MAY:
As for May, rumours are swirling about a western extravaganza! Horses, lassos, pianis and guns! There's also word about a chainsaw wielding, ax throwing, tree climbing gongshow! We'll see were the truth lies very soon!!!

Archery Tournament!

MARCH: Archery
The event: ARCHERY!!! What's manlier that shooting something with a gun? Shooting something with a bow! That's how Rambo rolled! That's how Robin Hood rolled! And, should you be Champion of this event, this is how you could roll! Ryan has indicated that the Winner of the event may be the proud new owner of his own BOW AND ARROWS!!!

The event will take place at a paintball field in the west end at 11am. www.markedpaintball.ca/directions.html

The cost will be $30 per person based on 9 people attending.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
- 10 rounds of shooting into a hay bail with a bow and arrow at different distances. Points awarded based on successfully hitting target (bullseye, outer ring, haybail).

Pool Tournament!

FEBRUARY: Pool Tournament

Pool has always been a gentlemen's game. A game of finesse where even the slightest mistake could mean the difference between a win and a loss (or missing a shot. depends on the shot I guess).

The tournament was truly a manly one! Some got too drunk to play well, some were on fire and others just couldn't get the flow going! AN EPIC BATTLE!!

- Top 2 players must play 2 games to determine who is the ultimate champion.

Extreme Squash Tournament!

JANUARY: Squash Tournament
The first event proved to be a STRONG event! Dexterity, agility, strength and raw fortitude were needed to excel in this four-walled fury!

Some men were bewildered by this new exotic sport. Others proved their cunning by pretending to be new at it. Others seemed a bit too keen to downplay their abilities. Strategy will clearly be a part of MOTY 2010.

One thing was certain on this crisp cool day of January: The need to gain an early lead.

A good night of drinking, poker and gambling is the only way to start off a year of manliness! While the evening may be blurry in terms of who won and who was a dick at the poker table, one thing came out of it that we DO remember (mainly because we wrote it down).
